INSULATED GLASS UNIT

With three state-of-the-art vertical Lisec Insulated Glass Unit production lines Vitrum produces thousands of commercial and residential units every day - in almost any configuration imaginable.

An Insulated glass unit consists of two or three layers of glass separated by airspace. The insulation added by the airspace will isolate the room from the outdoor temperatures. 

 

Insulated Glass Features 
  • Greatly reduces thermal transfer between indoor and outdoor environments
  • Lowers heating and cooling costs
  • Creates a more comfortable interior environment for building occupants
  • Low-E and/or tinted coatings available to further enhance resistance to heat gain
  • Construction features include: desiccant drying agent in the spacer, bent corners and keyed joints, a polyisobutylene primary seal and polysulfide or silicone secondary seal.
  • Optional Argon fill to provide superior thermal insulation.
  • Laminated or Heat Treated glass for safety and security.
